Team Assistant for Top Finance PR Co! London

Are you a dynamic, client facing team secretary with a passion for cutting edge issues? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

 With gorgeous City offices, my client is a field leader with an enviable client list and a true ‘work hard – play hard’ ethic. The team is fast-paced, active and professional so they need a team assistant to match!

Daily, you will support the team in diary, travel and meeting management. You will be the first point of contact for the team, which is highly in demand, so you need to be a strong gatekeeper. Additional elements of this position include writing and sending out press releases, monitoring press coverage and being in daily contact with journalists from high profile newswires.

 The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Financial PR, Media or Banking. You must have at least two years’ experience in a demanding support role. Essentially, you will be enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable. You’ll be intelligent, cultured, sophisticated, full of initiative with excellent writing skills At times there will be a requirement to work under pressure and long hours can be involved so you must live in London and a flexible attitude is an absolute must.

Crucially we would like someone ideally with experience in a City/finance/corporate firm and very importantly not somebody who wants to get into the ‘marketing/creative/advertising industry’.  This is very much a hands on role with lots of research and client work involved so perfect for a candidate who has the ability to make the role as big as they want! This is of course alongside the traditional PA/support/organisational skills required for the role.
