Customer Engagement Assistant – Eco-friendly car company!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and energetic individual to join this eco-friendly car rental business.

 

We are looking for a temporary Customer Engagement Assistant to be based within the London offices.  The Customer Engagement Assistant shares responsibility for a number of different tasks including but not limited to; answering emails and telephone calls, onboarding members, chasing enquiries, processing memberships, liaising with operations and marketing teams to ensure communications across all departments.  You’ll be a natural relationship developer and enjoy striving to deliver 5* customer service at all times.  You will be a good multi-tasking, proactive and have a client service driven approach.  You will have an excellent work ethic with have bags of common sense and the ability to think on your feet.  You will have a ‘hands-on’ approach and be a team player.  This role would be ideal for someone who has a background in customer services, tele-sales or someone that has worked within a similar company and looking to build upon their present experience.

 

You will be a highly motivated and have a strong telephone demeanour, and not shy way from answering the phone.  At least 2 years’ experience within a sales and/or customer service roles would be advantageous  You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise your workload.  You will be able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm, cool and collected in high-pressured situations.  You will be working closely with the Customer Engagement Manager and wider team.  This role will involve a lot of on the job training, so you need to be adaptable and willing to learn.

 

The hours will vary between 8am -8pm (8am -5pm, 9am -6pm, 10am -7pm, 11am – 8pm).   Monday – Friday with the expectation for all staff members to be willing to work at least 1 weekend a month. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on the needs of the business.

 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.  You will be computer literate with excellent oral and written skills (fluency in English is essential).  You will be a natural problem solver and be extremely conscientious and self-motivated.  You will be flexible and a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative.
